[Weather] [09.05.2023 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Heat and Humidity Today Through Thursday & Perhaps Even Friday

Good morning everyone

Heat Advisories have been extended through Thursday for the Lower
Connecticut River Valley. Heat Indices of 95+ are expected this afternoon,
Wednesday and Thursday. The heat and humidity looks to peak on
Thursday...when many locations may see afternoon heat indices reach the
middle to upper 90s. It is possible that a few locations may see Heat Index
Values approach the middle 90s Friday afternoon.

We have attached the expected maximum afternoon Heat Indices for today,
Wednesday and Thursday.
