Good afternoon,
Please find attached a one page briefing regarding another storm that is
forecast to impact southern New England Friday night into Saturday.
Similar to last night's storm, this system is likely to produce strong
winds and minor to moderate coastal flooding. While the rainfall forecast
is less than last night's storm, 1 to 2 inches of rainfall will be enough
to prolong or exacerbate the ongoing fresh water flooding across the
region. There remains uncertainty with respect to the degree of impacts
from wind and flooding, but we will continue to provide briefings as new
information becomes available.
Thank you and have a good evening,
Meteorologists Rob Megnia, Andrew Loconto, and Bryce Williams
