[Weather] [2024.01.19 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Light Snow Today and Frigid Temperatures this Weekend

Good morning,

Please find attached an updated one page briefing regarding expected
accumulating snow across southeastern MA today. Since our briefing
yesterday afternoon, confidence has increased that this will be a nuisance
level event for most locations in southeastern MA and RI, thus no advisory
headlines will be put into effect. We're generally expecting 2 to 3 inches
of snow accumulations in Plymouth and Barnstable Counties in MA. Some
locally higher amounts remain a possibility due to ocean effect
enhancements. While this is expected to be a minor event, most of the
accumulations are forecast to take place during the evening commute, so
there may be some travel impacts this afternoon, especially along routes 3
and 6 in southeastern MA. This will be the last briefing for this event
barring any significant changes.
