[Weather] [2024.07.15 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing Dangerous Heat & Humidity Today through Wednesday

Good morning everyone!

The only change to the forecast was to add northern Worcester county to the
Heat Advisory. Otherwise...the Heat Advisory remains in effect through
Wednesday for all but the Cape/Islands and Berkshires.
Relief from the heat and humidity is still on track for Thursday, Friday
and Saturday with a return to seasonable temperatures and much more
comfortable humidity. We included the graphic of the Heat Advisory as well
as the expected Heat Indices today, Tuesday and Wednesday.

We also should mention there is the risk for mainly afternoon and evening
scattered showers and thunderstorms today and Tuesday. The activity may be
more widespread later Wednesday into Wednesday night as a cold front
crosses the region. There is the risk for isolated strong to severe
thunderstorms later today and we have included a graphic for that. There
also is the potential for scattered strong to severe thunderstorms Tuesday
and Wednesday afternoon & evening.
