[Weather] [2024.07.16 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing Dangerous Heat & Humidity Wednesday

Good afternoon,

No real changes to the expected heat index values Wednesday. No changes
made to the coverage of Heat Advisories in MA, CT and RI. Relief from the
heat and humidity is still on track for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with
a return to seasonable temperatures and much more comfortable humidity. We
included the graphic of the Heat Advisory as well as the expected Heat
Indices Wednesday.

We also should mention there is a risk for more widespread showers and
thunderstorms later Wednesday into Wednesday night as a cold front crosses
the region. We updated the thunderstorm outlook for this evening and
Wednesday.
