[Weather] [07.17.2024 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing Severe Thunderstorm Watch Until 8 PM

Good afternoon everyone,

Just a quick heads up that a Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for
much of southern New England until 8 PM this evening. The main threats are
damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which may lead to localized
flooding. We also cannot rule out a few instances of large hail.
