[Weather] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Localized Flooding Possible

Good Afternoon,

Localized downpours tonight through early Monday morning could result in
flooding of urban areas in parts of southern and eastern Connecticut, most
of Rhode Island, and southeast Massachusetts.

While most areas will not experience these downpours, a few locations could
pick up 2 to 3 inches of rain in a short time, resulting in flooding in
those places that typically see flooding in heavy rain such as underpasses.

The attached one-page briefing and graphic shows locations most at risk for
these localized downpours and flooding. Note that the forecast is Level 1
(Marginal) out of 4, so the overall risk is low.
