Good afternoon,

Following is a short e-mail to bring awareness to the potential for strong
to severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall capable of instances of flooding
late this afternoon and tonight.

An area of showers and thunderstorms over central Pennsylvania are expected
to move into Southern New England tonight. The main risks with these storms
are primarily from heavy rain capable of flooding, although isolated
instances of straight line wind damage are possible.

Attached graphics include the Severe Weather and Excessive Rainfall
Outlooks for today.

Unless there are significant changes that would warrant otherwise, expect
this to be the final briefing for this weather scenario.

Thanks,
NWS Boston/Norton MA
