[Weather] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Wintry Mix Wed Night-Thu

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Minor travel impacts from slippery roads are expected Wednesday night into
Thursday morning across interior southern New England as light snow changes
to a wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain, and eventually to all rain
Thursday morning. Please see the attached one-page briefing and images for
more information.

The Winter Weather Advisory that is being issued for northern Connecticut,
most of interior Massachusetts, and northwest Rhode Island is where we have
the highest confidence in minor travel impacts, especially for the Thursday
morning commute.  The Advisory may need to be extended farther east to
include more of the Boston and Providence areas if our confidence increases
for these locations, but any light icing would be shorter in duration than
for inland areas.
