Good afternoon,

We hope you are enjoying your 4th of July holiday. We wanted to inform you
that a period of higher heat and humidity is expected on Sunday and Monday,
with heat indices of 95°F to 100°F for much of southern New England,
excluding the Berkshires and the southern coast of Rhode Island and
Massachusetts. Monday is expected to be the hottest of the two days.
Therefore, we have issued a Heat Advisory from 7am Sunday to 8pm Monday.

While Tuesday will be a couple degrees cooler (below advisory criteria),
with heat indices in the upper 80s to lower 90s, it will still feel hot and
humid. A cold front is expected to move through the region on Tuesday,
breaking the heat and returning temperatures to the low 80s and upper 70s
by midweek.

This will be the final briefing for the upcoming heat, barring any
significant changes to the forecast.

Thank you,

Meteorologists: Candice Hrencecin, Andrew Loconto, Torry Dooley, & Emily
McMinn
