[Weather] [2025.07.08 AM] NWS Boston Briefing: Heavy Rainfall & Severe Storms Today

Good morning everyone,

There has not been much change in the thinking regarding
thunderstorms expected mid afternoon into the overnight hours tonight. A *Flood
Watch* has been issued where we expect the greatest risk of flash flooding.
Not everyone will see a storm, but those that do could experience rainfall
rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour and damaging winds. Please don't hesitate
