[Weather] [2025.07.10 AM] NWS Boston Briefing: Heavy Rain and Flash Flooding Possible this Morning

Good Morning.

A flood watch has been issued for eastern portions of Southern New England
this morning through 4pm this afternoon. Periods of heavy rain will bring
swaths of 2-4 inches of rain, poor drainage and urban flooding, and
possibly flash flooding.  The heaviest rain will be this morning
likey impacting the AM commute. Rain will taper off from west to east this
afternoon.
