[Weather] [2025.07.30 AM] NWS Boston/Norton EM Briefing: Heavy Rainfall Threat Thursday PM to Friday AM

Good morning,

Attached is a one-page briefing highlighting the potential for heavy
rainfall and localized flash flooding across southern New England from
Thursday afternoon through Friday morning. Widespread rainfall totals of
1–2 inches are expected, with localized amounts over 3 inches possible.
This may lead to localized flash flooding, with the greatest confidence for
impacts across Connecticut and Rhode Island.

An updated briefing will be provided later this afternoon.
