[Weather] [2025.09.04 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing - Severe Weather Possible Saturday PM

Good afternoon everyone,

We wanted to give you an initial heads up about the potential for some
severe weather in our area on Saturday afternoon and evening. This would
mainly be for western/central MA and western CT as storms will likely be
weakening as they reach RI and eastern MA after sunset. The main hazards
are damaging winds, large hail, and even the possibility of a tornado. If
