[Weather] [01.28.2026 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Potential Impactful Winter Storm Sunday

BOX Operations - NOAA Service Account box.operations at noaa.gov
Wed Jan 28 17:36:27 UTC 2026

Good afternoon,

There has been little change since our last briefing on Tuesday afternoon.
The storm track remains highly uncertain, and small changes in how close
the system tracks to New England will determine the magnitude and extent of
potential impacts.

Please see the attached one-page briefing for additional details regarding
potential hazards and impacts.

Thank you,

Caity Mensch, Kevin Cadima, Rob Megnia, Joseph DelliCarpini, & Torry Dooley
