[Weather] [03.02.2026 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Snow and Ice Tue afternoon/night

Good afternoon,

Attached is our latest one page briefing for light snow and ice
accumulations expected Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night. Winter Weather
Advisories have been issued for interior SNE north and west of I-95.

Snow is expected to develop Tuesday afternoon in the interior, then change
to rain and freezing rain late Tuesday and Tuesday night. A coating to an
inch of snow is possible along with a trace to one tenth of an inch of ice.
The greatest impacts to travel conditions will be over the higher
elevations.
