Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, The previous briefing was sent out with an incorrect ice accretion graphic. The correct graphic is in the attached briefing below. We apologize for the error. **** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, Main update to this forecast was to issue a *Winter Weather Advisory *for portions of the Schoharie and Mohawk Valleys, Washington and northern Saratoga Counties and the southern Green Mountains of Vermont. *Winter Storm Warning* continues for northern Herkimer, Hamilton, and northern Warren Counties from 1 PM Today to Noon Tuesday. *Winter Weather Advisories* may be needed for much of the rest of the eastern New York, southern Vermont, western Massachusetts, and possibly northwest Connecticut. In addition, temperatures will fall late Monday night and Tuesday, so that moisture on area roadways could freeze, causing slippery conditions regardless of snowfall amounts. A small shift in the expected track of this storm will shift the rain, snow and ice areas, so stay tuned for further updates.
