Frequent gusts of 40 to 45 mph with a few higher gusts. If those gusts become higher, then a wind advisory may be needed for portions of the region. Another storm system is forecast to impact the area late Saturday night into Sunday. A light wintry mix and or light snow accumulations are possible, mainly southeast of the Adirondacks. If confidence increases, then winter weather advisories may be needed for some locations. See attached images for expected wind gusts today and snow accumulations over the weekend.
