The precipitation will begin across southern areas on Sunday morning and expand northward. The steadiest precipitation will be Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening, with precipitation tapering off late Sunday night. Precipitation is not expected to be heavy, however, a light accumulation of snow and ice is expected. A Winter Weather Advisory will likely be needed for much of the region. The main potential impact will be slippery travel conditions. Please refer to attached PDF for preliminary snow/ice forecasts. This still remains a low confidence forecast, as there is still some uncertainty about the duration of the different precipitation types. Regardless of this, slippery travel can be expected for much of Sunday into Sunday night. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via: 1. Email: alb.stormreport@noaa.gov 2.
