Snow totals of 3 to 6 inches are expected there. Outside of northern Herkimer County, a widespread light snow event is expected this morning with amounts ranging between a coating up to 1 inch, except in the southern Adirondacks and southern Greens of Vermont where 2 to 4 inches are possible. Given the timing of the event and colder temperatures, slippery travel conditions may occur for the morning commute. Please see the attached short briefing for further details. Then, there is the potential for another snow event Tuesday night into Wednesday bringing additional light snowfall amounts to the region, with the highest amounts across western Adirondacks and western New England.
