It is now in effect for all of eastern New York and western New England from 2 PM to 10 PM today. West winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. Winds may be strong enough to blow down large tree limbs, some trees and power lines. Isolated power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult for high profile vehicles.
