Freezing rain is possible even with air temperatures above freezing due to cold surfaces and the dense snow pack. The freezing rain will transition to plain rain from south to north this evening into tonight. A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Litchfield County Thursday morning into Thursday evening. Heavy rainfall combined with some snowmelt and runoff due to frozen ground could result in urban/poor drainage flooding, minor river flooding, and isolated flash flooding.
