NWS Albany - Severe Thunderstorms possible Sunday/Monday - Saturday, May 18, 2019 - 500 AM
**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, There is a Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon into early evening for the Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys and eastern Catskills. The main threat is damaging wind gusts. Elsewhere, isolated thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon into early evening mainly west of the Hudson Valley. Some of the storms may produce gusty winds. There is also a chance of thunderstorms on Monday. There is a Marginal Risk a few of the storms could become severe, mainly from the Hudson Valley into western New England. Please see attached PDF for graphics of outlook areas.
