Most of the area will be seeing precipitation through mid morning. Any freezing rain will transition over to snow before ending. The Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded across more of the area for this morning. Here is a summary of the current Warnings and Advisories. *Winter Storm Warning* is in effect for northern Herkimer, Hamilton, and northern Warren Counties to Noon Tuesday. *Winter Weather Advisory* is in effect for the Capital Region, Mohawk Valley, Schoharie County, Lake George-Saratoga Region, southern Vermont, eastern Catskills, central and northern Taconics and Mid Hudson Valley. In addition, temperatures will fall through the day today and any wet conditions will freeze, causing slippery conditions regardless of snowfall amounts.
