A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 1 PM today for northern Herkimer and Hamilton Counties. An additional inch of snow is possible this morning, with a storm total of 3 to 6 inches resulting in slippery travel conditions and reduced visibility. In addition, a storm system is expected to bring snow and a wintry mix to the region late Monday night into Tuesday. The best chance at seeing a wintry mix is south of I-90, with mostly snow favored to the north. Light to moderate accumulations of snow, sleet, and ice are possible, which could lead to difficult travel conditions. Winter weather advisories may be needed in some areas.
