The worst of the heat and humidity is expected on Sunday and Monday when heat advisories will likely be needed, especially in the Connecticut Valley and portions of eastern Massachusetts into Rhode Island. Heat indices will reach 95 to 100 Sunday, peaking in the upper 90s and low 100s degrees Monday. Low temperatures overnight will be in the 70s.
