Hi everyone, A weak storm system will produce rain for most areas from late Saturday morning through Saturday evening. However, in the higher terrain, above approximately 1000 ft., there could be a light accumulation of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. Less than 1/10 inch of ice accretion is expected in those areas and daytime accretion will be difficult due to the relatively warm ground. A Special Weather Statement, rather than a Winter Weather Advisory, will be issued to address this concern. Dry, windy, and much warmer conditions are forecast for Sunday, with highs reaching 55 to 60 in many areas. -- Glenn Field, Torry Gaucher, and Andrew Loconto NWS - Boston/Norton If you have any questions or would like more information, don't hesitate to contact us via this email address, on NWSChat <https://nwschat.weather.gov/>, or at the following: National Weather Service Boston/Norton, MA 46 Commerce Way Norton, MA 02766 508.622.3280 Website <http://www.weather.gov/boston> | Facebook <http://www.facebook.com/NWSBoston> | Twitter <http://www.twitter.com/NWSBoston>
