Good Morning Everyone, With little to no additional accumulation expected as snowfall wraps up across much of the region this morning, gusty northwest winds will linger, especially across the high terrain, for the better part of the afternoon as the impactful winter storm pulls out to sea. A Wind Advisory is now in place through 4pm for western Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden counties as well as across northern Worcester county. Winds 35-45mph are forecast, with gusts to 50mph possible. These winds may lead to additional damage and downed trees, especially in areas where heavy, wet snow has stuck to trees and power lines. Neighboring NWS Offices in Albany, NY and Gray, ME have issued abutting Wind Advisories. The Wind Advisory in place for Cape Cod and Nantucket will expire at 8AM.
