Good morning, Forecast remains on track regarding oppressive heat and humidity with no significant change from what was briefed Saturday afternoon. As the forecast remains little changed, refer to the graphics sent in Saturday afternoon's briefing. Heat Advisories remain in effect until 8 PM Monday for all of Connecticut, for much of Massachusetts except for Nantucket and Northern Berkshire County, and all of Rhode Island except for Block Island. Maximum heat indices are expected in the 95 to 102F range for those locations in the Heat Advisory, with little nighttime relief. While many will stay dry today, scattered pop-up showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop near and north of the Mass Pike by mid-afternoon until sundown. Severe weather is not anticipated, with lightning and brief downpours the main risks from any thunderstorms. Thank You!
