Good morning everyone, Please find our latest briefing regarding this week's dangerous heat and humidity attached. Heat Headlines remain identical to yesterday afternoon, with a Heat Advisory in place for much of interior southern New England through this evening. In addition to the Heat Advisory, there is an Air Quality alert for portions of Connecticut and Massachusetts. An Excessive Heat Watch remains in place for Wednesday and Thursday. We expect a decision to be made regarding Wednesday's headline, either an upgrade to an Excessive Heat Warning or a downgrade to Heat Advisory by 5pm this afternoon. The most significant change to the forecast overnight is the introduction of uncertainty regarding oppressive heat and humidity extending into Friday, especially across eastern MA, with a potential cold front introducing isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms chances to the region.
