Good afternoon, The Heat Advisory remains in effect until this evening. On Friday, we are expecting just enough drier air to keep Heat Indices between 90 and 95 degrees, just shy of Heat Advisory Criteria. However, very oppressive heat and humidity will return this weekend in a big way. Heat Indices could reach 100 degrees on Saturday. On Sunday, actual temperatures might even approach 100 degrees, with Heat Index values nearing 105 or higher. Heat Advisories or Excessive Heat Watches/Warnings will likely be issued for this weekend.
