Good afternoon, Following is an update regarding the long-duration Offshore Ocean Storm (Subtropical Storm Melissa). Subtropical Storm Melissa continues to progress eastward into the western Atlantic waters well south of Nova Scotia, and will continue to move eastward into the northern Atlantic over the next few days. Local impacts across Southern New England have improved, and continued improvement trends are expected. Remaining impacts being from northerly wind gusts and seas on the waters. *Small Craft Advisories* remain in effect for most of the coastal and offshore waters. Northerly wind gusts are expected to subside below Small Craft Advisory levels through tonight. Though subsiding trends to waves/seas are expected on all waters, rough sea conditions will remain on most offshore waters into Sunday.
