Possible strong to severe thunderstorms along with potential localized flooding Wednesday through Thursday ...* *What ... * - Strong to severe thunderstorms with locally strong to damaging winds. - Heavy downpours, excessive rainfall, localized urban, poor-drainage flood risk. *Where ... * - All areas of Southern New England could be affected. *When ... * - Thunderstorm activity will begin around noon Wednesday and continue into the evening. - Heavy rain threat will also begin around noon Wednesday and are forecast to continue into Thursday. *Confidence ... * - Confident there will be thunderstorms, some strong to severe, along with heavy downpours across Southern New England for the timeframes mentioned. Scattered activity is anticipated. - However lower confidence with respect to exactly where the greatest impact with respect to either will occur. As previously mentioned, one town could be impacted while the neighboring town sees very little. ************************************************************************************* *2.)
