Good afternoon everyone Just wanted to send a quick update for the issuance of a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire state of Connecticut until 8 PM this evening. Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon into early this evening across all of southern New England. While there is an isolated severe weather risk across the entire region...the greatest risk is across the state of Connecticut where a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect through 8 pm this evening. The main severe weather threat is localized damaging wind gusts and torrential rainfall. Thank You!
