Good morning, Following is an update regarding an expected light freezing rain event on Saturday, mainly for areas in Southern New England north and west of Interstate 95. *Winter Weather Advisories* have now been issued for portions of Massachusetts and Connecticut, valid from 4 AM Saturday morning to 1 PM Saturday afternoon. We expect only light accumulations of ice, to no more than a tenth of an inch. Impacts should be limited to hazardous travel conditions. An updated one-page briefing and supporting graphics are attached, which include the forecast ice accumulations as well as a graphic outlining the Winter Weather Advisory area.
