Good evening, Please find attached an updated briefing package regarding winter storm potential Saturday night into Sunday. Some updates since our last briefing. - Winter Storm Watch has been put into effect for locations in southern New England generally north and west of the I-95 corridor. - Increasing confidence for a winter storm to produce moderate to major impacts west of I-95 with 8 to 12 inches of snow possible - Considerable uncertainty remains with respect to snow accumulations east of I-95 including the cities of Boston and Providence The watch area may be expanded south and east if confidence in impacts over these locations grows. We will provide an updated briefing package tomorrow morning.
