[2022.01.21 AM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Accumulating Ocean Effect Snow Showers for South Shore and Cape Cod Thru Saturday Afternoon
Good morning, Please find attached a one-page briefing packet and supporting graphics regarding accumulating snow from ocean-effect snow showers for Plymouth and Barnstable Counties in Massachusetts. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for both Plymouth and Barnstable Counties until 4 PM Saturday. As ocean-effect snow showers are narrow and tend to oscillate, snow amounts & conditions will vary considerably over short distances in these counties. As this is a longer duration event, we expect the period of greatest snow accumulations to take place late tonight into Saturday morning. Supporting graphics that are attached include forecast snow accumulations and the Winter Weather Advisory area. Expect an updated briefing by *6 PM Friday*. Thank You!
