Correction to typo. We are watching two rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms, one for this evening and another for tomorrow afternoon. Storms are expected to be more widespread on Thursday afternoon than this afternoon. *This evening* *What:* Isolated strong to locally severe thunderstorms in Western MA and CT this evening. *Threats:* Localized damaging winds and urban poor drainage flooding. *Timing:* Through 10 PM. *Location:* Western MA and CT. *Thursday afternoon* *What:* Widespread strong to severe thunderstorms on Thursday afternoon into evening. *Threats:* Localized damaging winds, small hail and urban poor drainage flooding. *Timing:* Mainly 2 to 10 PM, although isolated storms could develop earlier. *Location:* All of Southern New England.
