[06.07.21 PM] NWS Boston EM Briefing: Oppressive Heat Continues
Good afternoon everyone Here is our latest briefing for the ongoing oppressive heat. *What has changed* - Heat Advisories Extended Into Tuesday Evening and also expanded to include all areas outside the highest terrain and the south coast of Southern New England. Heat advisories have been extended into Tuesday evening and also expanded to include all areas of southern New England; except for the highest terrain and areas near the south coast. The other concern will be for scattered thunderstorms Tuesday between noon and 8 PM. While the activity will be hit or miss, potentially slow moving thunderstorms will result in a very localized flood threat.
