Good morning, We are expecting a three day heat wave Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with afternoon temperatures in the 90s each day. *What: *Extreme heat *Where: *northern portions of CT/RI and most of MA including the cities of Hartford, Providence, Boston and Springfield. However on Monday the extreme heat will be most widespread, even impacting the high terrain. *When:* Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The extreme heat will likely peak on Monday with highs 95 to 100 possible. *Forecast Confidence:* forecast temperatures have been trending warmer the past few days for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Therefore forecast confidence is above average for high temperatures to exceed 90 degrees each of those days along with a low probability of a few locations nearing 100 Monday.
