Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

*Freezing Rain, Sleet and Snow to impact area this evening into Tuesday
with significant icing and power outages expected. *Travel could become
impossible in some areas.

*Ice Storm Warning:* Schoharie Valley, Helderbergs, eastern Catskills,
Berkshires and northern Litchfield Hills with ice accumulations of 1/2 to
3/4 of an inch

*Winter Storm Warning:* western/southern Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Lake
George Saratoga Region, Washington County, northern Taconics and southern
Vermont with ice accumulations of 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch

*Winter Weather Advisory:* Capital District, mid Hudson Valley,
central/southern Taconics and southern Litchfield County with ice
accumulations of a glaze up to a tenth of an inch with isolated
accumulations of near 1/4 of an inch in higher terrain

Please refer to briefing for details including ice and snow/sleet
accumulations, forecast temperatures through the storm and forecast peak
wind gusts Monday and Monday night.
