Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for most of eastern New York and
western New England, as light-to-moderate snow is expected to overspread
the region from west to east beginning early Wednesday afternoon and
continuing through early Thursday morning. A widespread 3-6 inches of snow
is expected across eastern New York and western New England. The Wednesday
evening commute could be impacted for much of the region.

amounts and timing.
