Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,
Dangerous heat conditions for the next 3 days:
- Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for Saturday for Hudson River
Valley from the Poughkeepsie area north across the Capital District, for
the Mohawk Valley, southern Taconics and Litchfield County.
- Heat Advisories have been issued across east central New York and
western New England for Friday and Saturday

Also, there is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and
evening. The main threat is for damaging wind gusts which could result in a
power outage.
