Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Dangerous heat conditions for the next 3 days:

   - Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for Saturday for Hudson River
   Valley from the Poughkeepsie area north across the Capital District, the
   Mohawk Valley, southern Taconics and Litchfield County.
   - Heat Advisories remain in effect across east central New York and
   western New England for Friday and Saturday.
   - Additional Excessive Heat Warnings and/or Heat Advisories will likely
   be needed for Sunday.

Isolated thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening. There
is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms with damaging winds as the main
threat.
