Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

There is a *marginal risk* for severe thunderstorms on Wednesday for
portions of eastern New York.  However, the chance for thunderstorms exists
across the remainder of the region with additional adjustments to this
outlook expected later today.  The greatest threat from these thunderstorms
will be damaging wind gusts.

Locally heavy rain may also produce ponding of water in poor drainage,
urban and low lying areas.
