Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for northern Herkimer County from
4 AM Monday through 4 AM Tuesday.  Snow totals of 3 to 6 inches are
expected there.

Outside of northern Herkimer County, a widespread light snow event is
expected Monday morning with amounts ranging between a coating up to 1
inch, except in the western Adirondacks and southern Greens of Vermont
where 2 to 4 inches are possible. Given the timing of the event and colder
temperatures, slippery travel conditions may occur for the Monday morning
commute.

Please see the attached briefing for expected snow amounts.

Then, there is the potential for another snow event Tuesday night into
Wednesday bringing additional light snowfall amounts to the region, with
the highest amounts across western New England.
