Good afternoon,

An approaching cold front runs into a warm and very humid airmass Wednesday
and Thursday, before moving through Southern New England late Thursday or
Thursday night. This will generate strong thunderstorms over Southern New
England as well as local downpours.

The consequences of such weather would be damage from strong wind gusts and
urban/poor drainage flooding from heavy downpours. A tornado cannot be
ruled out, but the likelihood is low.

All of Southern New England is in play Wednesday and Thursday. But the
higher likelihood Wednesday will be in Western/Central Massachusetts and
Northern Connecticut. This higher likelihood shifts east into Eastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island Wednesday night and Thursday.
