[Weather] [2019.08.07] Strong/Severe Thunderstorms and Local Downpours Possible Today through Thursday Morning

Good morning,

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected over Southern New England today
into Thursday morning. The primary threats will be *damaging winds and
localized torrential downpours*. However, *a* *tornado cannot be ruled out*
.

The higher likelihood of severe storms today will be in Western/Central
Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut. This then shifts into Eastern
Massachusetts and Rhode Island tonight into early Thursday.
