[Weather] [2019.02.25 AM NWS Briefing] Very Strong Winds Expected Today

Good morning,

West to northwesterly winds will continue to increase this morning and peak
later this afternoon. Details below.

*Headlines:*

   - *HIGH WIND WARNING*
      - All of Southern New England


   - *STORM WARNING*
      - All waters



   - *What:* Strong, damaging winds gusting 55 to 65 mph; potential for
   gusts as strong as 70 mph. Sustained winds of 25-40 mph at times are also
   possible.


   - *When:* Winds peak this afternoon, gradually diminishing early Tuesday.


   - *Impacts:* Downed tree limbs / trees and power lines. Scattered power
   outages and blocked roads likely due to tree / power line debris.
