[Weather] [2019.02.25 PM NWS Briefing] Winds Continue, Accumulating Snow Late Wed - Early Thu

Good afternoon everyone,

Winds will begin to very gradually diminish overnight.  However, given that
it will take until roughly afternoon Tuesday to fully drop off, impacts are
likely to continue until then.  We also want to give a heads up regarding
snowfall, potentially plowable for late Wednesday into early Thursday.

*WINDS:*

   - Gusts continue to reach 40-50 mph during the overnight hours, 35-45
   mph during the day on Tuesday.
   - Continued risk for downed trees/limbs, along with continued power
   outages.  Winds may limit ability for utility companies to restore power.
   - The risk should be fully over by Tuesday evening.

*PLOWABLE SNOW LATE WED - THU:*

*What:*

   - Light to moderate snowfall.
   - Snowfall rates generally below 1 inch/hour.
   - Total snowfall of 1-4 inches possible based on current forecast.
   - Some impacts to Wednesday evening and Thursday Morning commutes.

*When:*

   - Snow overspreads from West-East between mid afternoon and evening.
   - Snow continues, especially across E MA and RI into mid day Thursday.

*Where:*

   - All of Southern New England
   - Highest totals focused mainly south of the Mass Pike.

*Uncertainty/When We Will Know More:*

   - Snowfall amounts will likely change over the next 48 hours.
   - There is an equal risk for both higher, and lower snow totals.
   - We will continue to update over the next 48 hours.

Included, along with the peak winds expected overnight into Tuesday is the
current snowfall forecast.
